Fundraising is an important aspect of the year as funding for the program has dwindled in recent years.  Money recieved from fundraising goes toward the purchase of new instruments, music, etc.  Also, portions of your fundraising profits will go toward offsetting the cost of your trip to "Music in the Parks" at the end of the year.
